Bob was feeling frustrated. He had just carefully written down a list of all the things he had to do, but then he had lost the bit of paper. Now he'd have to write it all out again! Bob enjoyed writing - he kept a diary each day, and sent letters to his friends. In his diary he would stick photos and articles which he'd cut out of the paper - especially articles about his favourite TV programmes or about nature. Bob was really interested in animals and nature. And that's where it all started. Because each Wednesday Bob went to a meeting at a local nature reserve where he learnt all about animals, birds and insects. That night he told them the story about losing his 'to-do' list and having to start again. 'What you need, Bob,' said the centre director, 'is a computer...'
